Event Type: Prep Clinic
Location: Park City Mountain - Canyons Base (Umbrella Bar at the top of the Cabriolet - meet at Umbrella Bar at the top of Cabriolet)
All participants in winter events at Park City are required to wear a helmet. If you do not wear a helmet you will not be able to attend the event you signed up for. If you do not have a helmet, Park City will provide them free of charge at the rental shop on the day of the event. Please check the resort website for all parking information.

Prerequisites: Current PSIA-AASI Membership, Alpine level 1 certification or equivalent, Professional Membership Required

Course Description:
Description: Technical Skills Clinic, 2 Full Days, On-Snow
Assessment Prep Goal: This clinic is a 2-day, in-depth experience that will identify and prioritize the technical improvements necessary to prepare for the Level 2 Ski Assessment. This event should only be attended by instructors intending to take the Level 2 Skiing Assessment in the next year.
Clinic Outcomes: By the end of this clinic, participants will:
- Understand their personal performance.
- Be able to compare their performance to the Level 2 Standard.
- Possess tools that support independent practice.
Clinic Experiences:
- The clinic leader and participants will collaborate to determine relevant goals.
- The clinic leader will emphasize the accurate integration of fore/aft pressure control, rotary control, and edging control.
- The clinic leader will use activities from the Intermountain Activity Matrix to create awareness about personal performance.
- The clinic leader may capture video of each participant to enhance feedback.
- The clinic leader will provide demonstrations on Movement Analysis.
- Participants will practice movement analysis to study cause-and-effect relationships.
- The clinic leader will facilitate reflection on the day's goals and other relevant experiences.
Additional Event Details:
All PSIA-AASI members must follow the PSIA-AASI code of conduct.
All members participating in an Intermountain clinic or assessment must wear a helmet when sliding on snow using lift-accessed terrain.
