Course Description (IM Spring Clinic 2026):

Spring Clinic is our biggest event of the year with multiple clinic offerings in multiple disciplines at two resorts with two regions! Central will join us to enjoy great spring sliding and Apres fun. Clinic topics/locations are listed on the registration page. You can sign up for one day, two days or all three.
Join friends and colleagues for no-host Apres on the Park City and Deer Valley decks on Friday and for the party on Saturday as we celebrate our anniversary year members and instructors of the year.
Discounted hotel rate is available for those traveling.
Saturday Apres location is still being decided. We'll have food, appetizers, and of course, awards. It's the time we cheer for the winter sport we love and the community we have created. Show up, have fun and make this a party to remember.
Spring Clinic is happening at both Deer Valley and Park City this year! Check out the session options below and be sure to pay attention to the location when choosing your sessions, as it varies by session. Deer Valley will be listed as DV below, Park City will be listed as PC below.
Friday Sessions:
Corduroy Mountain Cruise (Alpine/DV)
Explore all the mountain and all of Deer Valley's legendary grooming. Cruising pace, taking time to get to know the group, improve skills, and experience the mountain.
Mayflower Rally (Alpine/DV)
Check out Deer Valley's new terrain (conditions permitting). Rally pace, moving faster, getting lots of laps and vertical. Ski all around the mountain finding the best conditions of the day with coaching cues from a pro.
I Ride Park City! (Snowboard/PC)
Ride all around the mountain finding the best SB terrain and conditions of the day with coaching cues from a pro.
Women Teaching Women (Alpine/DV)
Coaching for the gals, from the gals. This group will be intermediate paced and focus on ski improvement. Submerse yourself in inspirational networking with like-minded women.
Favorite Lines: Deep Cuts with the Central CEO *conditions permitting (Alpine/Telemark/DV)
Central CEO Ron Shepard explored the slopes of Deer Valley with his clients for over a decade. This group will experience some of Ron's favorite pitches and stashes (and will most likely run the NASTAR course as well). Open to all Alpine/Telemark Participants. Expect Steeps, Trees, Gates.

Off Piste Mountain Exploration (Alpine/DV)
It might be Roulette, but whatever is out there we will ski it! To the East Village and back again we will seek out off piste, trees and bumps while exploring the mountain.
Alpine Tipping and Ripping (Alpine/DV)
Explore in depth: What is carving, how do you do it more accurately, and efficiently? We will start with the basics and end on performance turns.
Skiing Adaptability (Alpine/DV)
Learn to adapt to different terrain and outcomes using varied application of fundamentals. Test the DIRT to hone your skills on groomed and off piste conditions.
Freestyle Outside to Inside (Snowboard and Alpine/PC)
Start Small and Take it Easy: in this clinic we will develop skills outside of the park in the playful terrain Park City and then take them into the little park to explore using these skills on the small features. Teaching progressions and intro to park focus.
Rider Improvement (Snowboard/PC)
Collaborate with Education Staff to set personal goals and achieve outcomes. Using the Snowboarding Technical Fundamentals, your clinic leader will give you individual feedback to help you achieve your goal.
Off Piste Mountain Exploration (Snowboard/PC)
It might be Roulette, but whatever is out there we will ride it! To the Canyons and back again we will seek out off piste and trees while exploring the mountain. Improve skills with quick tips and tactics from Education Staff. Ride, Explore, Repeat.
Learn to Tele (Telemark/PC)
Get started downhill with the easiest way to mastery of the oldest turn on skis. This clinic covers the how, the what, and the why of the telemark turn. Gear is not provided.

Blend fundamentals and tactics to build confidence and comfort skiing in the trees. Improve your own development, teaching progressions, class handling and tactical considerations for taking students into the forested and unprotected world of tree skiing.
Tele Improvement (Telemark/DV)
Improve your telemark skills in a tailored-to-your-needs clinic focusing on fine-tuning your skiing skills and technical knowledge
All PSIA-AASI members must follow the PSIA-AASI code of conduct.
All members participating in an Intermountain clinic or assessment must wear a helmet when sliding on snow using lift-accessed terrain.
